This is the time of year when we pause to reflect on what makes life meaningful. What each of us can do individually and collectively to make the world a better place.
As Director of Agropolis Fondation, I am extremely proud of the way this institution has responded to the crisis, connecting people with good ideas and encouraging collaborations across the world to promote agroecology.
Our scientific community has been at the frontline of changes, co-designing solutions to problems that require local-global actions.
May the year 2022 embody the values dear to the foundation: diversity, equity, sustainability, resilience and solidarity; may we be able to link more and more actors, from research and teaching, from the political world and civil society, from the local to the international, from the South as well as the North, and all generations together.
And may science enlighten democracy! "
