On February 27, 2024, Sylvia Maria Fonseca S. Massruha, the new President of EMBRAPA (Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation) visited Agropolis and met Carine Karaïliev; Director of Agropolis Fondation.
EMBRAPA has been a long-standing partner of the Foundation since 2007, initially as a member of the Scientific Council (represented by Dr Mauricio Lopes). In the framework of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) isigned n 2013, the two institutions co-funded two Franco-Brazilian calls for proposals. A total of 14 research projects were funded, for a total of €560k.
