Nearly 40 scientists from Montpellier took part in the Science Week. They got involved into various activities.

Lectures
Several scientists gave a lecture to the participants of the Science Week: Marie Hrabanski (CIRAD), Benjamin Sultan (IRD), Jean-Marc Touzard (INRAE)…

Speed dating
About 20 scientists took part in a speed dating with the OPFP laureates and mentors, for potential new scientific collaborations between France and Africa.

Lab visits
Several scientists opened the door of their labs and provided the group with visits of their high technology infrastructures:
- ARCAD genetic resource world-class center,
- LEPSE high-speed phenotyping platform,
- Maison de la Télédétection remote sensing laboratories,
- Mas Numérique innovative digital technologies,
- Montpellier University Spatial Center.

Hosting laureates for their AST internship
A pair of scientists from CIRAD and IRD will also be hosting an OPFP laureates for a period of 3 to 6 months to work on a specific scientific project.
